Harvest Moon Supper @ Highland, NY — 9/30

$130.00

When: Saturday, September 30, 2023, 5-8 PM
Where: Highland, NY

Join us for our first supper in Highland, NY as we honor heritage and ancestry with a special Korean dinner to celebrate Chuseok!

Chuseok, also known as the Harvest Moon Festival, is a major traditional holiday celebrated in Korea. It’s a time for giving thanks to ancestors, paying respects to family members who have passed, and enjoying an abundant mid-Autumn harvest.

As first-generation Korean-Americans, we’ve had to navigate preserving heritage while assimilating into American society. This dinner will be a tribute to our roots and a reminder that, just like us, traditions are intended to evolve and expand. The evening will be filled with an array of delectable Korean dishes as an invitation to share our stories. We’ll have a guided conversation exploring our collective roots, asking ourselves: “how did we become who we are today, and who will we continue to become tomorrow?”

We will be offering pick-ups from and drop-offs to the Hudson Line Metro-North’s Poughkeepsie Station. Due to this event being held at a private residence, location will be released upon booking.

We hope to see you at the table.
